270206, Performance/Dance, 2022, Daniela Georgieva & Hugo Le Brigand
In 270206, Daniela Georgieva and Hugo Le Brigand are bringing a poetic-minimalist duet to the stage. Inspired by the movement language of the Judson Dance Theater of the 1960s, the two dancers explore the boundaries of their own and the other body and find impressive images for the tension between closeness and distance. The performers reflect on physicality and community as basic conditions of human being-in-the-world and the current reaction to physical distancing and uncertainty. In their choreography they explore how the ego changes in exchange with the other and over time, how the perception of the self and the localization in space shift. The two dancers become a fragmentary we, feel the boundaries of their own and the other body and trace the sound and intensity of movement, touch and encounter.
